Merry Christmas! and Saving Grace!

Where do I begin? I have been away for so long. I had to step away and let the healing process begin full throttle. My family (immediate and extended) was beginning, yet, another defining chapter in life. This one ,also, riddled with intense pain. Only our Lord and Savior could help. I had to place myself in deep uninterrupted prayer, and works, mode. So, we approach Christmas. The time of HOPE. And, we feel the Lord's blessing ringing through.......there is HOPE...........healing has begun. A Saving Grace has been bestowed on our crisis in the form of painful growth. I can only give joyful praise for the pain, because it's a sure sign that growth/change has begun. Amen.

So my youngest comes home and shares this most beautiful Christmas card he made. (Yes, it has tanks on it. He's a boy and I thank God for that, and that he expresses it.) However, read the Christmas poem. It is the purest of Christmas recipes that brings joy, and hope, faith, and love.

The Christmas tree poem.

This Christmas, end a quarrel. Seek out a forgotten friend. Dismiss suspicion, and replace it with trust. Write a love letter. Share some treasure. Give a soft answer. Keep a promise. Find the time. Forgo a grudge. Forgive an enemy. Listen. Apologize if you were wrong. Try to understand. Examine your demands on others. Think first of someone else. Be kind and be gentle. Appreciate. Laugh a little. Laugh a little more. Express your gratitude. Gladden the heart of a child. Welcome a stranger. Take pleasure in the beauty and the wonder of Earth. Speak your love. Speak it again. Speak it yet once again.

Merry Christmas to all! May your New Year's bring continued blessings! I have missed communing with all of you in "blog land" in regards to your fulfilling and love-filled lives. I love reading about your life adventures and choices. I thank God for you. God bless.

(I must profoundly express a heartfelt "thank you" to those "blogger friends" who reached out to me in concern. You know who you are. I cannot thank you enough. I will be back in your lives, with a hopeful welcome, soon!)
(updates on my family page, too)
