A Passion-intense Color Mix!

I love Valentine's Day
But, it's not just about the candy, flowers, and "love" for me.
It's the one time that I can use red AND pink as decor accents!
I know red is the color that evokes passion!
But for me, it's a
passion-intense color mix
when I have red AND pink together!

We all know what "they say"
about which color evokes a particular emotion!
But, here's a chart for re-acquainting one's self to
the Psychology of Color!

And, remember,
it doesn't have to be St. Valentine
who provokes us to share
our feelings of LOVE!
STOP,
and say
"I LOVE YOU"
everyday!

  1. I love that first photo..it's gorgeous!! I didn't like pink growing up, but it's a colour I am very fond of now. Red is my oldest daughter and husband's favourite colour, so I do enjoy red. I would love to see traffic lights like that everywhere, it would be wonderful and maybe people would think on love more often. And you are right, we don't need Valentine's day for Love, it should be celebrated and given everyday!! Hope you are doing well! xo

  2. Timbarika, it would be sooooo wonderful, and may ease "road-rage", if our traffic lights were actually designed like the one in the photo!!!!! We might have more LOVELY days! xo

  3. I say throw pink and red together any time. As your images show it's a great combo.
Love the heart light -- so charming.

  4. Doreen, I love the heart light too! Just as I mentioned before, seeing a heart light everyday might just be a lovely reminder to actually take time to specifically show love!
