  1. I have never noticed velvet pumpkins until this season. They are lovely....especially lovely paired with such vibrant colors of blooms. We are still having a heat wave here-can't wait for some real 'fall' weather.
    Always inspiring Shelly!

    1. Happy October to you, too, Timbarika! I love these colors in fall. This image resonated with the beauty and depth of the seasonal colors. Even though it is a vignette of velvet pumpkins kissed with flowers, it most definitely inspires! xo

  4. This post reminded me that it is October...How did that happen? And it also reminded me that someone has a birthday on Wednesday...HHMMMMMM, who could it be? Would you like candy, flowers, or some more cool weather for your birthday? How about all the above?

    1. Didn't October come in with such grace and beauty? Couldn't have been a better entrance, I'd say!! And, to answer you question, flowers in my garden are always the best, homemade candy is truly the most delicious, and the perfect weather makes most all things seem lovelier! xo

  6. Is that a mini pumpkin inside the calla lily? Never seen that before, very clever. I've been looking around for some fall flower inspiration -- this is great!
